1. “所罗门的箴言:要使人晓得智慧和训诲。分辨通达的言语。使人处事,领受智慧,仁义,公平,正直的训诲。使愚人灵明,使少年人有知识和谋略。使智慧人听见,增长学问。使聪明人得着智谋。使人明白箴言和譬喻,懂得智慧人的言词和谜语。”(箴1:1-6)


The proverbs of Solomon: for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young--let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance--for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.(Prov 1:1-6)


2. “敬畏耶和华是知识的开端。愚妄人藐视智慧和训诲。”(箴1:7)


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Prov 1:7)


3. “我儿,要听你父亲的训诲,不可离弃你母亲的法则。因为这要作你头上的华冠,你项上的金链。”(箴1:8-9)


Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.(Prov 1:8-9)


4. “寻找他如寻找银子,搜求他如搜求隐藏的珍宝,你就明白敬畏耶和华,得以认识神。因为耶和华赐人智慧。知识和聪明,都由祂口而出。”(箴2:4-6)


If you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Prov 2:4-6)


5. “我儿,不要忘记我的法则。你心要谨守我的诫命。因为他必将长久的日子,生命的年数,与平安,加给你。不可使慈爱诚实离开你。要系在你颈项上,刻在你心版上。这样,你必在神和世人眼前蒙恩宠,有聪明。”(箴3:1-4)


My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.(Prov 3:1-4)


6. “你要专心仰赖耶和华,不可倚靠自己的聪明。在你一切所行的事上,都要认定祂,祂必指引你的路。不要自以为有智慧。要敬畏耶和华,远离恶事。这便医治你的肚脐,滋润你的百骨。”(箴3:5-8)


Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. (Prov 3:5-8)


7. “你要以财物,和一切初熟的土产,尊荣耶和华。这样,你的仓房,必充满有余,你的酒榨,有新酒盈溢。”(箴3:9-10)


Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. (Prov 3:9-10)


8. “我儿,你不可轻看耶和华的管教,也不可厌烦祂的责备。因为耶和华所爱的,祂必责备。正如父亲责备所喜爱的儿子。”(箴3:11-12)


My son, do not despise the LORD'S discipline and do not resent His rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those He loves, as a father the son he delights in.(Prov 3:11-12)


9. “得智慧,得聪明的,这人便为有福。因为得智慧胜过得银子,其利益强如精金。比珍珠宝贵。你一切所喜爱的,都不足与比较。他右手有长寿。左手有富贵。他的道是安乐,他的路全是平安。他与持守他的作生命树。持定他的俱各有福。”(箴 3:13-18)


Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed.(Prov 3:13-18)


10. “不可离弃智慧,智慧就护卫你。要爱他,他就保守你。智慧为首。所以要得智慧。在你一切所得之内,必得聪明。高举智慧,他就使你高升。怀抱智慧,他就使你尊荣。他必将华冠加在你头上,把荣冕交给你。”(箴4:6-9)


Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a crown of splendor. (Prov 4:6-9)


11. “但义人的路,好像黎明的光,越照越明,直到日午。恶人的道好像幽暗。自己不知因什么跌倒。”(箴4:18-19)


The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. (Prov 4:18-19)


12. “我儿,要留心听我的言词,侧耳听我的话语。都不可离你的眼目。要存记在你心中。因为得着他的,就得了生命,又得了医全体的良药。”(箴4:20-22)


My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. (Prov 4:20-22)


13. “你要保守你心,胜过保守一切。因为一生的果效,是由心发出。你要除掉邪僻的口,弃绝乖谬的嘴。你的眼目,要向前正看,你的眼睛,当向前直观。”(箴4:4:23-25)


Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. (Prov 4:23-25)


14. “要使你的泉源蒙福。要喜悦你幼年所娶的妻。她如可爱的麀鹿,可喜的母鹿。愿她的胸怀,使你时时知足。她的爱情,使你常常恋慕。”(箴5:18-19)


May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer--may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love. (Prov 5:18-19)


15. “懒惰人哪,你去察看蚂蚁的动作,就可得智慧。蚂蚁没有元帅,没有官长,没有君王,尚且在夏天预备食物,在收割时聚敛粮食。懒惰人哪,你要睡到几时呢?你何时睡醒呢?再睡片时,打盹片时,抱着手躺卧片时,你的贫穷就必如强盗速来,你的缺乏仿佛拿兵器的人来到。”(箴6:9-11)


Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest--and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man. (Prov 6:6-11)


16. “耶和华所恨恶的有六样,连他心所憎恶的共有七样。就是高傲的眼,撒谎的舌,流无辜人血的手,图谋恶计的心,飞跑行恶的脚,吐谎言的假见证,并弟兄中布散分争的人。”(箴6:16-19)


There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers. (Prov 6:16-19)


17. “淫妇用许多巧言诱他随从,用谄媚的嘴逼他同行。少年人立刻跟随她,好像牛往宰杀之地,又像愚昧人带锁链,去受刑罚。直等箭穿他的肝,如同雀鸟急入网罗,却不知是自丧己命。”(箴7:21-23)


With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk. All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life. (Prov 7:21-23)


18. “你们当受我的教训,不受白银。宁得知识,胜过黄金。因为智慧比珍珠更美。一切可喜爱的,都不足与比较。”(箴8:10-11)


Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. (prov 8:10-11)


19. “敬畏耶和华,在乎恨恶邪恶。那骄傲,狂妄,并恶道,以及乖谬的口,都为我所恨恶。”(箴8:13)


To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. (Prov 8:13)


20. “因为寻得我的,就寻得生命,也必蒙耶和华的恩惠。得罪我的,却害了自己的性命。恨恶我的,都喜爱死亡。”(箴8:35-36)


For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD. But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death. (Prov 8:35-36)


21. “不要责备亵慢人,恐怕他恨你。要责备智慧人,他必爱你。教导智慧人,他就越发有智慧。指示义人,他就增长学问。”(箴9:8-9)


Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you. Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. (Prov 9:8-9)


22. “敬畏耶和华,是智慧的开端。认识至圣者,便是聪明。”(箴9:10)


"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Prov 9:10)


23. “恨能挑启争端。爱能遮掩一切过错。”(箴10:12)


Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs. (Prov 10:12)


24. “耶和华所赐的福,使人富足。并不加上忧虑。”(箴10:22)


The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and He adds no trouble to it. (Prov 10:22)


25. “敬畏耶和华,使人日子加多。但恶人的年岁必被减少。”(箴10:27)


The fear of the LORD adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short. (Prov 10:27)


26. “恒心为义的,必得生命。追求邪恶的,必致死亡。”(箴11:19)


The truly righteous man attains life, but he who pursues evil goes to his death. (Prov 11:19)


27. “有施散的,却更增添。有吝惜过度的,反致穷乏。好施舍的,必得丰裕。滋润人的,必得滋润。”(箴11:24-25)


One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. (Prov 11:24-25)


28. “才德的妇人,是丈夫的冠冕。贻羞的妇人,如同朽烂在她丈夫的骨中。”(箴12:4)


A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. (Prov 12:4)


29. “说话浮躁的,如刀刺人。智慧人的舌头,却为医人的良药。口吐真言,永远坚立。舌说谎话,只存片时。”(箴12:18-19)


Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. (Prov 12:18-19)


30. “人心忧虑,屈而不伸; 一句良言,使心欢乐。”(箴12:25)


An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. (Prov 12:25)


31. “懒惰人羡慕,却无所得。殷勤人必得丰裕。”(箴13:4)


The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. (Prov 13:4)


32. “不劳而得之财,必然消耗; 勤劳积蓄的,必见加增。”(箴13:11)


Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow. (Prov 13:11)


33. “凡通达人都凭知识行事。愚昧人张扬自己的愚昧。”(箴13:16)


Every prudent man acts out of knowledge, but a fool exposes his folly. (Prov 13:16)


34. “与智慧人同行的,必得智慧;和愚昧人作伴的,必受亏损。”(箴13:20)


He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Prov 13:20)


35. “智慧妇人,建立家室;愚妄妇人,亲手拆毁。”(箴14:1)


The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down. (Prov 14:1)


36. “有一条路人以为正;至终成为死亡之路。”(箴14:12)


There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. (Prov 14:12)


37. “愚蒙人是话都信。通达人步步谨慎。”(箴14:15)


A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps. (Prov 14:15)


38. “敬畏耶和华的,大有倚靠。他的儿女,也有避难所。敬畏耶和华,就是生命的泉源,可以使人离开死亡的网罗。”(箴14:26-27)


He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death. (Prov 14:26-27)


39. “不轻易发怒的,大有聪明。性情暴躁的,大显愚妄。”(箴14:29)


A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly. (Prov 14:29)


40. “心中安静,是肉体的生命。嫉妒是骨中的朽烂。”(箴14:30)


A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. (Prov 14:30)


41. “公义使邦国高举,罪恶是人民的羞辱。”(箴14:34)


Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (Prov 14:34)


42. “回答柔和,使怒消退。言语暴戾,触动怒气。”(箴15:1)


A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Prov 15:1)


43. “温良的舌,是生命树。乖谬的嘴,使人心碎。”(箴15:4)


The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. (Prov 15:4)


44. “愚妄人藐视父亲的管教。领受责备的,得着见识。”(箴15:5)


A fool spurns his father's discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. (Prov 15:5)


45. “心中喜乐,面带笑容; 心里忧愁,灵被损伤。”(箴15:13)


A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. (Prov 15:13)


46. “少有财宝,敬畏耶和华,强如多有财宝,烦乱不安。吃素菜,彼此相爱,强如吃肥牛,彼此相恨。”(箴15:16-17)


Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil. Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred. (Prov 15:16-17)


47. “暴怒的人,挑启争端。忍怒的人,止息分争。”(箴15:18)


A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel. (Prov 15:18)


48. “智慧子使父亲喜乐。愚昧人藐视母亲。”(箴15:20)


A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother. (Prov 15:20)


49. “口善应对,自觉喜乐。话合其时,何等美好。”(箴15:23)


A man finds joy in giving an apt reply--and how good is a timely word! (Prov 15:23)


50. “弃绝管教的,轻看自己的生命。听从责备的,却得智慧。”(箴15:32)


He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding. (Prov 15:32)


51. “敬畏耶和华,是智慧的训诲。尊荣以前,必有谦卑。”(箴15:33)


The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. (Prov 15:33)


52. “你所作的,要交托耶和华,你所谋的,就必成立。”(箴16:3)


Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. (Prov 16:3)


53. “人所行的若蒙耶和华喜悦,耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。”(箴16:7)


When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him. (Prov 16:7)


54. “骄傲在败坏以先,狂心在跌倒之前。”(箴16:18)


Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. (Prov 16:18)


55. “良言如同蜂房,使心觉甘甜,使骨得医治。”(箴16:24)


Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. (Prov 16:24)


56. “不轻易发怒的,胜过勇士。治服己心的,强如取城。”(箴 16:32)


Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city. (Prov 16:32)


57. “签放在怀里,定事由耶和华。”(箴16:33)


The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD. (Prov 16:33)


58. “鼎为炼银,炉为炼金。惟有耶和华熬炼人心。”(箴17:3)


The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart. (Prov 17:3)


59. “子孙为老人的冠冕。父亲是儿女的荣耀。”(箴17:6)


Children's children are the crown of old men, And the glory of children is their father. (Prov 17:6)

A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool. (Prov 17:10)


61. “朋友乃时常亲爱;弟兄为患难而生。”(箴17:17)


A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Prov 17:17)


62. “喜乐的心,乃是良药。忧伤的灵,使骨枯干。”(箴17:22)


A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Prov 17:22)


63. “败坏之先,人心骄傲。尊荣以前,必有谦卑。”(箴18:12)


Before his downfall a man's heart is proud, but humility comes before honor. (Prov 18:12)


64. “生死在舌头的权下。喜爱他的,必吃他所结的果子。”(箴18:21)


The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Prov 18:21)


65. “得着贤妻的,是得着好处,也是蒙了耶和华的恩惠。”(箴18:22)


He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD. (Prov 18:22)


66. “滥交朋友的,自取败坏。但有一朋友,比弟兄更亲密。”(箴18:24)


A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (Prov 18:24)


67. “愚昧的儿子,是父亲的祸患。妻子的争吵,如雨连连滴漏。”(箴19:13)


A foolish son is his father's ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping. (Prov 19:13)


68. “房屋钱财,是祖宗所遗留的。惟有贤慧的妻,是耶和华所赐的。”(箴19:14)


Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD. (Prov 19:14)


69. “怜悯贫穷的,就是借给耶和华。他的善行,耶和华必偿还。”(箴19:17)


He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.” (Prov 19:17)


70. “趁有指望,管教你的儿子。你的心不可任他死亡。”(箴19:18)


Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death. (Prov 19:18)


71. “人心多有计谋。惟有耶和华的筹算,才能立定。”(箴19:21)


Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD'S purpose that prevails.(Prov 19:21)


72. “行为纯正的义人,他的子孙,是有福的。”(箴20:7)


The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.(Prov 20:7)


73. “不要贪睡,免致贫穷。眼要睁开,你就吃饱。”(箴20:13)


Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare. (Prov 10:13)


74. “以虚谎而得的食物,人觉甘甜。但后来他的口,必充满尘沙。”(箴20:17)


Food gained by fraud tastes sweet to a man, but he ends up with a mouth full of gravel. (Prov 20:17)


75. “你不要说,我要以恶报恶。要等候耶和华,祂必拯救你。”(箴20:22)


Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.” (Prov 20:22)


76. “强壮乃少年人的荣耀,白发为老年人的尊荣。”(箴20:29)


The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old. (Prov 20:29)


77. “王的心在耶和华手中,好像陇沟的水,随意流转。”(箴21:1)


The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases. (Prov 21:1)


78. “人所行的,在自己眼中都看为正,惟有耶和华衡量人心。”(箴21:2)


All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart. (Prov 21:2)


79. “塞耳不听穷人哀求的,他将来呼吁也不蒙应允。”(箴21:13)


If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.”(Prov 21:13)


80. “通达人见祸藏躲,愚蒙人前往受害。”(箴22:3)


A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. (Prov 22:3)


81. “敬畏耶和华心存谦卑,就得富有,尊荣,生命,为赏赐。”(箴22:4)


Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life. (Prov 22:4)


82. “教养孩童,使他走当行的道,就是到老他也不偏离。”(箴22:6)


Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” (Prov 22:6)


83. “撒罪孽的,必收灾祸。他逞怒的杖,也必废掉。”(箴22:8)


He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.” (Prov 22:8)


84. “好生气的人,不可与他结交。暴怒的人,不可与他来往。恐怕你效法他的行为,自己就陷在网罗里。”(箴22:24-25)


Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.(Prov 22:24-25)


85. “不要劳碌求富,休仗自己的聪明。”(箴23:4)


Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint.(Prov 23:4)


86. “你要听从生你的父亲。你母亲老了,也不可藐视她。”(箴23:22)


Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. (Prov 23:22)


87. “谁有祸患?谁有忧愁?谁有争斗?谁有哀叹?谁无故受伤?谁眼目红赤?就是那流连饮酒,常去寻找调和酒的人。”(箴23:29-30)


Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.(Prov 23:29-30)


88. “你在患难之日若胆怯,你的力量就微小。”(箴24:10)


If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! (Prov 24:10)


89. “我经过懒惰人的田地,无知人的葡萄园。荆棘长满了地皮,刺草遮盖了田面,石墙也坍塌了。我看见就留心思想,我看着就领了训诲。”(箴24:30-32)


I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw.(Prov 24:30-32)


90. “一句话说得合宜,就如金苹果在银网子里。”(箴25:11)


A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. (Prov 25:11)


91. “你的仇敌,若饿了就给他饭吃。若渴了就给他水喝。因为你这样行,就是把炭火堆在他的头上。耶和华也必赏赐你。”(箴25:21-22)


If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.(Prov 25:21-22)


92. “人不制伏自己的心,好像毁坏的城邑,没有墙垣。”(箴25:28)


Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control. (Prov 25:28)


93. “不要照愚昧人的愚妄话回答他,恐怕你与他一样。要照愚昧人的愚妄话回答他,免得他自以为有智慧。”(箴26:4-5)


Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes.(Prov 26:4-5)


94. “愚昧人行愚妄事,行了又行,就如狗转过来吃它所吐的。”(箴26:11)


As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly. (Prov 26:11)


95. “你见自以为有智慧的人吗?愚昧人比他更有指望。”(箴26:12)


Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.(Prov 26:12)


96. “不要为明日自夸,因为一日要生何事,你尚且不能知道。”(箴27:1)


Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.(Prov 27:1)


97. “你的朋友,和父亲的朋友,你都不可离弃。你遭难的日子,不要上弟兄的家去。相近的邻舍,强如远方的弟兄。”(箴27:10)


Do not forsake your friend and the friend of your father, and do not go to your brother's house when disaster strikes you--better a neighbor nearby than a brother far away.(Prov 27:10)


98. “通达人见祸藏躲。愚蒙人前往受害。”(箴27:12)


The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.(Prov 27:12)


99. “铁磨铁,磨出刃来。朋友相感,也是如此。”(箴27:17)


As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Prov 27:17)


100. “遮掩自己罪过的,必不亨通。承认离弃罪过的,必蒙怜恤。”(箴28:13)


He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.(Prov 28:13)


101. “常存敬畏的,便为有福。心存刚硬的,必陷在祸患里。”(箴28:14)


Blessed is the man who always fears the LORD, but he who hardens his heart falls into trouble.”(Prov 28:14)

102. “行动正直的,必蒙拯救。行事弯曲的,立时跌倒。”(箴28:18)


He whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but he whose ways are perverse will suddenly fall.(Prov 28:18)


103. “愚妄人怒气全发,智慧人忍气含怒。”(箴29:11)


A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.(Prov 29:11)


104. “没有异象,民就放肆。惟遵守律法的,便为有福。”(箴29:18)


Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.(Prov 29:18)


105. “你见言语急躁的人吗?愚昧人比他更有指望。”(箴29:20)


Do you see a man who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for him.(Prov 29:20)


106. “好气的人,挑启争端。暴怒的人,多多犯罪。”(箴29:22)


An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins. (Prov 29:22)


107. “惧怕人的陷入网罗。惟有倚靠耶和华的,必得安稳。”(箴29:25)


Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.(Prov 29:25)


108. “神的言语,句句都是炼净的,投靠他的,他便作他们的盾牌。”(箴30:5)


Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.(Prov 30:5)


109. “我求你两件事,在我未死之先,不要不赐给我。求你使虚假和谎言远离我。使我也不贫穷,也不富足,赐给我需用的饮食。恐怕我饱足不认你,说,耶和华是谁呢?又恐怕我贫穷就偷窃,以致亵渎我神的名。”(箴30:7-9)


Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.(Prov 30:7-9)


110. “你当为哑吧开口,为一切孤独的伸冤。你当开口按公义判断,为困苦和穷乏的辨屈。”(箴31:8-9)


Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (Prov 31:8-9)


111. “才德的妇人,谁能得着呢?她的价值远胜过珍珠。”(箴31:10)


A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. (Prov 31:10)


112. “才德的女子很多,惟独你超过一切。艳丽是虚假的。美容是虚浮的。惟敬畏耶和华的妇女,必得称赞。”(箴31:29-30)


"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. (Prov 31:29-30)

2003年,一群来自母会海华郡中华圣经教会(CBCHC)的基督徒领受神的异象,有感于巴尔的摩地区众多华人同胞的福音需要,于同年9月租用 Shelbourne Baptist Church 的场地开始聚会,并成立巴郡中华圣经教会 (CBCBC)。教会于2017年9月搬至新租用的Holy Nativity Lutheran Church,主要服事来自世界各地的华人移民,周边学校的华人学生学者,在美国出生的亚洲人, 及跨文化和美国的家庭。我们除了主日中文崇拜,还办有成人主日学以及针对学前班和学龄班的主日学,同时提供婴儿照看。
